INTRODUCTION
The Department of Physical Education and Sports established in 2002. Dr. Parvati Mane is in charge director of Physical Education at Shankarrao Jawale-Patil Arts, Science & Commerce College, Lohara.
Sports teams of the college participate in the various tournaments under the auspices of Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The department works not only focus on the sports of the students but also them to improve their organization and leadership qualities.
The Department organizes daily practice session in the college; selected players represent the college team, many of the players participate in the tournaments at University level. At present the college is providing sports coaching in the rural area through training the college students.
The students of the college practice and play yearly matches on college ground.
Outdoor: The Sport Department has all equipment for outdoor games. The following games have been playing in the college.
Holly ball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Javelin throw, Shot-Put throw, Discs Throw, Cricket, High Jump and Long Jump has been practicing.
